Local Member Announcements/June Workshop

Twin Destinies - is currently available on Amazon.com and many sites via "Google" This story is about twin brother fighter pilots who on separate missions during WWII were shot down behind enemy lines. Both pilots and crews had to bail out of burning Liberator Bombers without benefit of any "jump" experience. Delbert will be picked up by Yugoslavian Partisans and make a perilous escape through the mtns. His twin, Delmer will be captured by the Germans and remain a POW for the duration of the war. Neither brother will know the fate of the other until after the war. Delbert relates his many experiences while escaping through rugged terrain and Delmer tells what life was like inside a POW camp and the many forced marches in bitter winter. Book was ghostwritten by Claudette Parmenter and published by Outskirts Press.
